Still alive

The Bunnysattvas
well this story is more funny than profound but it always sticks in my memory.
Going back about a decade I had three indoor rabbits (who I collectively referred to as the Bunnysattvas). They were basically indoor house trained rabbits, and would often flop out in front of the fireplace, which also happened to be my meditation place. There I would be, settled into my meditation posture, eyes closed and focused on my mantra. After ten minutes I would hear little footsteps, then feel this "push-push" against my knee. This would be followed by more footsteps and more pushing as the next rabbit investigated. I am sure they just wanted to check that I was still alive, and having satisfied their curiosity they would return to their own meditative state.
(Thanks Robert - enjoyed your "rabbiting around" story !......Ian)
